Application to managers of director provisions extends governance and duty rules to company managers under company law. The Act extends selected statutory duties and regulatory provisions that apply to managing directors and directors to the manager of a company, so those enactments govern managers in the same manner as they govern managing directors or directors, imposing equivalent standards of conduct, administrative obligations and regulatory consequences in relation to appointment, functions and accountability.
