Costs in voluntary winding up rank ahead of other claims from company assets, subject to secured creditors' rights. All costs, charges and expenses properly incurred in a voluntary winding up, including the remuneration of the liquidator, are payable out of the company's assets in priority to all other claims, subject to the rights of secured creditors.
