Alteration of board size may be effected by ordinary resolution in general meeting, subject to articles and statutory limits. A company may increase or reduce the number of its directors by an ordinary resolution in general meeting, so long as the change stays within limits fixed by its articles of association and is subject to the applicable statutory provisions of the Companies Act.
