<h1>Section 651A: Company Winding Up Now Handled by Tribunal, Replacing Court References in Law</h1> Section 651A of the Companies Act, 1956, stipulates that references to the winding up of a company by a Court or High Court, or under the supervision of a Court or High Court, in any law (excluding the Banking Regulation Act, 1949) should be interpreted as winding up by the Tribunal per the Act's provisions. Additionally, any mention of the Company Law Board in any law should be understood as referring to the Tribunal under this Act. This section was introduced by the Companies (Second Amendment) Act, 2002, and its effective date is to be notified.
