Application for registration of transfer: notice required for partly paid shares; transferee may object within two weeks. An application to register transfer of a member's shares or other interest may be made by either transferor or transferee. If the transferor applies in relation to partly paid shares, the company must notify the transferee; the transfer cannot be registered if the transferee objects within two weeks. Notice is deemed duly given when sent by prepaid registered post to the address in the instrument of transfer and is deemed delivered when it would be in the ordinary course of post.
