of <h1>Share Transfer Registration: Transferor or Transferee Can Apply; Two-Week Notice Required for Partly Paid Shares</h1> An application for the registration of a share transfer in a company can be made by either the transferor or transferee. If the transferor applies for partly paid shares, the transfer will not be registered unless the company notifies the transferee, who must not object within two weeks of receiving the notice. The notice is considered duly given if sent by prepaid registered post to the address on the transfer instrument and is deemed delivered at the usual postal delivery time.
