Producer company objects emphasize activities serving members' primary produce and promoting mutuality and member welfare. Objects of a Producer Company relate to activities serving Members' primary produce, including production, procurement, processing, marketing, export/import, manufacture or supply of machinery and consumables mainly to Members, and financing of procurement, processing and marketing; such activities may be carried out directly or through other institutions. The objects also cover education on mutual assistance, technical and consultancy services, training, R&D, power generation and resource revitalisation related to primary produce, insurance of producers or produce, promotion of mutuality, welfare measures as determined by the Board, and ancillary activities that promote mutuality. Producer Companies must deal primarily with the produce of their active Members.
