Contracts by companies: written or oral agreements made by authorized persons bind the company and may be varied similarly. Contracts on behalf of a company may be made in writing signed by any person acting under the company's express or implied authority, or by parol when such contracts would be valid by parol between private persons; contracts made in either manner may be varied or discharged in the same manner and shall bind the company.
