of <h1>Companies Must Register Office Within 30 Days of Incorporation; Report Changes Promptly to Avoid Daily Fines.</h1> A company must have a registered office from the start of its business or within thirty days of incorporation, whichever is earlier, for receiving communications and notices. Any changes to the registered office must be reported to the Registrar within thirty days. The office cannot be relocated outside local limits without a special resolution. Including the office address in the annual return does not fulfill the reporting obligation. Non-compliance results in a fine of up to five hundred rupees per day for the company and responsible officers.
