Appointment of receiver or manager requires registrar notice and register entry; noncompliance attracts a daily penalty. Section 137 mandates that appointments of receivers or managers under a court order or instrument must be notified to the Registrar within thirty days and entered in the register of charges on payment of the prescribed fee; cessations must likewise be notified and entered, and failure to comply incurs a daily fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
