Director Identification Number requirement requires quoting the identifier in any return or information relating to or referencing a director. Every person or company required to furnish returns, information or particulars under the Companies Act must include the Director Identification Number whenever the material furnished relates to, or contains any reference to, a director, requiring the corresponding identifier to be quoted in that document.
