        Validation of firm membership: firms registered as members of licensed charitable companies are deemed validly registered from registration. Any firm that, at the commencement of the Act, stood registered as a member of an association or company licensed under the prior companies law is deemed to have been validly so registered, with that status applying from the date of its registration.
