Section 288 - Procedure where meeting adjourned for want of quorum.

Quorum adjournment rule: board meetings automatically adjourn to the corresponding day next week if quorum is lacking.

Where a board meeting cannot be held for want of quorum, the meeting automatically stands adjourned to the same day in the following week at the same time and place, or, if that day is a public holiday, to the next succeeding non-holiday at the same time and place, unless the articles provide otherwise; failure to convene a meeting for want of quorum does not by itself constitute a contravention of the calling requirements where the meeting was called in compliance with those requirements.
