          <h1>Alteration of memorandum: substitution of Karnataka for Mysore in company memoranda, with Registrar required to amend records.</h1> Where a company's memorandum, in existence immediately before the renaming enactment, states Mysore as the State of its registered office, the memorandum is deemed altered from commencement by substituting a reference to the State of Karnataka for Mysore, and the Registrar of Karnataka shall make necessary alterations in the memorandum of association and the certificate of incorporation.
