<h1>Section 627: Inspect Company Books for Suspected Offenses by Officers, No Appeals Allowed on Judge's Decision.</h1> Section 627 of the Companies Act, 1956, allows the Public Prosecutor, Central Government, or a company prosecutor to apply to a High Court Judge or Tribunal for an order if there is reasonable cause to suspect an offense by a company officer. The order can authorize inspection of company books or require their production to investigate the offense. This provision also applies to banking records related to the company's affairs. Decisions made under this section by a Judge or Tribunal are not subject to appeal.
