of <h1>Foreign Companies Can Be Wound Up in India Under Section 584 of Companies Act, 1956</h1> Section 584 of the Companies Act, 1956, allows for the winding up of foreign companies incorporated outside India that have ceased to carry on business in India. This can occur even if the company has been dissolved or no longer exists under the laws of its country of incorporation.
