Strike-off of Producer Company: Registrar may remove names for non-commencement or non-compliance, subject to notice and appeal. A Producer Company may be struck off if it fails to commence business within the initial period, ceases transacting with members, or no longer pursues its objects; the Registrar must give a notice to show cause with a copy to all directors and afford a reasonable opportunity to represent. If mutual assistance principles are not maintained the Registrar may strike off under the section 560 procedure. Members aggrieved by a strike-off order may appeal to the Company Law Board and the order is stayed pending disposal of the appeal.
