Saving provision preserves existing corporate instruments and actions, treating them as operative under the new Act going forward. Section 645 preserves orders, rules, appointments, conveyances, mortgages, deeds, documents, agreements, fees, resolutions, directions, proceedings and instruments in force under prior companies law at commencement of the Act; such matters continue to have effect and, insofar as they could have been authorised by the Act, operate as if made or done under the Companies Act.
