<h1>Central Government Can Apply Directly for Orders Under Sections 397 or 398 of Companies Act, 1956; Fee Rs. 5000.</h1> The Central Government has the authority to apply directly to the Tribunal for an order under sections 397 or 398 of the Companies Act, 1956. Alternatively, it can authorize another person to make such an application on its behalf. The prescribed fee for this application is Rs. 5000. The power to apply will be transferred to the National Company Law Tribunal upon notification of the relevant amendment. The term 'Tribunal' has replaced 'Company Law Board' and 'Court' in previous amendments.
