of <h1>Sections 378-383 of Companies Act 1956 omitted; managing agents system abolished by Amendment Act 2000.</h1> Sections 378 to 383 of the Companies Act, 1956, which pertained to management and administration, were omitted by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2000, effective from December 13, 2000. These provisions were considered redundant following the abolition of the managing agents system by Act 17 of 1969. Additionally, references to treasurers were removed after the system's abolition on April 3, 1970.
