          <h1>Quorum requirements set default minima and prescribe dissolution or adjournment rules when insufficient members attend meetings.</h1> Quorum requirements set default minima-five members for a public company and two for other companies-unless the articles specify a larger number. If a quorum is not present within half an hour of the appointed time, a meeting called on requisition is dissolved; otherwise it is adjourned to the same day next week or to another time and place as the Board determines, and if still no quorum is present within half an hour at the adjourned meeting, the members present shall constitute a quorum.
