Poll timing rules require immediate poll for adjournment; chairman sets timing for other polls within a short period for meetings. Section 180 requires that a poll demanded on an adjournment question be taken forthwith. A poll demanded on any other question, other than a question relating to election of a chairman under the separate provision, must be taken at a time the chairman directs, not later than forty eight hours from when the demand was made.
