Bond to prosecute or give evidence obligates attendance at court and risks forfeiture on default. A bond under Form No. 30 binds a named person to attend a specified court on a stated date and time to prosecute and/or give evidence in relation to a described charge, and stipulates forfeiture of a stated sum to Government in case of default; the form requires insertion of the signatory's name, place, court details, charge description, date, and signature.
