Jurisdiction for deception offences attaches to where electronic communications, letters or messages were sent or received, and where property was delivered by the deceived person or received by the accused; specified sexual offences may be tried where the offence occurred or where the offender last resided with a spouse by a first marriage or where that spouse has taken up permanent residence.
