          <h1>Security for unexpired bond period: court cancels existing bond and requires fresh security for remaining term.</h1> Where a person produced on a summons or warrant has an existing bond or bail bond, the Magistrate or Court shall cancel that bond and require the person to give fresh security of the same description to cover the unexpired portion of the original bond term; such an order is to be treated for the purposes of the surrounding provisions as an order under the antecedent procedural sections, thereby subjecting it to the same consequences and enforcement mechanisms.
