Dispersal of unlawful assemblies: authorised magistrates and police may command, use civil force, and arrest noncompliant participants. Any Executive Magistrate or authorised police officer may command an unlawful assembly, or an assembly of five or more persons likely to disturb the peace, to disperse; if the assembly disobeys or shows determination not to disperse, the magistrate or officer may disperse it by civil force, require assistance from non-armed-forces persons, and arrest and confine persons forming part of it for dispersal or lawful punishment.
