Attachment and sale authority extends beyond issuing court when District Magistrate endorses warrant for execution under local jurisdiction. A warrant under clause (a) of sub section (1) of section 461 may be executed within the issuing court's local jurisdiction and, when endorsed by the District Magistrate where the property is found, authorises attachment and sale of that property outside the issuing court's jurisdiction, with the endorsement serving to extend the warrant's territorial effect and permit execution in the district containing the property.
