          <h1>Delivery of person of unsound mind: State may permit custody subject to care, inspections and court production.</h1> Delivery of persons of unsound mind to a relative or friend is allowed by State Government upon application and satisfactory security that the person will be properly cared for, prevented from harming self or others, and produced for inspection and, where applicable, produced before the Magistrate or Court; if an inspecting officer certifies that an accused so delivered is capable of making a defence, the Magistrate or Court shall require production and may proceed, the inspecting officer's certificate being receivable as evidence.
