        Service of summons: leaving a duplicate with an adult family member permits substituted service when the person cannot be found. If a summoned person cannot be found despite exercise of due diligence, the summons may be served by leaving a duplicate with an adult family member residing with the person; that family member may be required to sign a receipt on the back of the other duplicate.
