        Search of arrested person permits police to seize non apparel items and require receipt; female searches must be by another female. Police may search a person arrested under a warrant that does not permit bail or when bail cannot be furnished, and may search persons arrested without a warrant or by a private person who cannot be legally admitted to or cannot furnish bail. The officer must place in safe custody all articles found on the person other than necessary wearing-apparel and give a receipt for seized articles. A female shall be searched only by another female with strict regard to decency.
