Pending appeals, applications, trials, inquiries and investigations that exist immediately before commencement continue to be disposed of, continued or held under the prior procedural law as if the new Sanhita had not commenced. Notifications, proclamations, powers, forms, jurisdictions, sentences, orders, rules and appointments in force immediately before commencement are deemed to have been made under corresponding provisions of the Sanhita, and prior sanctions or consents permit proceedings to be commenced under the Sanhita.
