State power to direct trials across sessions divisions permits relocation of committed cases unless it conflicts with higher court directions. State Government may direct that any case or class of cases committed for trial in any district be tried in any sessions division, notwithstanding other Chapter provisions, provided such directions are not repugnant to any prior direction issued by the High Court or the Supreme Court under the Constitution, this Sanhita, or any other law in force.
