Affidavit evidence permits proving allegations against public servants in court inquiries and proceedings when the court so directs. The provision permits an applicant in any inquiry, trial or other proceeding under the Sanhita to give evidence of facts alleged respecting a public servant by affidavit, and authorizes the Court, at its discretion, to order that such evidence be given in affidavit form.
