Service on government servants: head of office must effect summons service and signature constitutes evidence of due service. Summons for a person in active Government service is to be sent in duplicate to the head of the office who must effect service by the prescribed procedure and return the duplicate to the court under his signature with the required endorsement; that signature is evidence of due service.
