Expenses of complainants and witnesses: courts may order government payment of reasonable attendance expenses, subject to state rules. A Criminal Court may, if it thinks fit, order payment by the Government of the reasonable expenses of any complainant or witness attending for purposes of any inquiry, trial or other proceeding under this Sanhita, subject to any rules made by the State Government.
