Territorial jurisdiction: offence triable where the act occurs or where its consequence ensues, allowing trial in either locality. Where an act is an offence by reason of something done and of a consequence which has ensued, the offence may be inquired into or tried by a Court within whose local jurisdiction such thing has been done or such consequence has ensued; the provision permits trial in the locality of the act or the locality of the consequence, determining competent local jurisdiction for inquiry and trial.
