Power to compel restoration of abducted females: magistrates may order immediate return and enforce it by necessary force. Upon a sworn complaint of abduction or unlawful detention of a woman or female child, a District Magistrate, Sub-divisional Magistrate or Magistrate of the first class may order immediate restoration of the woman to liberty or the child to its lawful custodian and may compel compliance with that order using such force as may be necessary.
