Conditional orders for removal of public nuisances empower magistrates to require remediation or show cause compliance. Specified Executive Magistrates may, on receiving a report or other information and after such evidence as they consider fit, make a conditional order requiring removal or regulation of unlawful obstructions or nuisances in a public place; prohibition or regulation of trades or keeping of goods injurious to health; prevention or alteration of hazardous construction or disposal of substances; repair, support or removal of dangerous buildings, tents, structures or trees; fencing of tanks, wells or excavations; or destruction, confinement or disposal of dangerous animals, within a time fixed or on appearance to show cause why the order should not be made absolute.
