          <h1>Audio-video recording of searches required, with immediate forwarding of the recording to the designated magistrate.</h1> Obligation to record searches and seizures through audio-video recording is mandated: the search, preparation of the list of all things seized and witness signatures must be captured by audio-video electronic means (preferably mobile phone), and the police officer shall without delay forward the recording to the District Magistrate, Sub-divisional Magistrate or Judicial Magistrate of the first class.
