of <h1>Central Government sets up company registration offices, appoints registrars, and authorises official seals for authentic documents.</h1> The Central Government must, by notification, establish registration offices at locations it considers appropriate and define their territorial jurisdiction to enable the exercise of powers and functions under the Act and related rules and to facilitate company registration. It may appoint Registrars and additional categories of registrars as needed to perform registration and other statutory functions, with their powers and duties determined as prescribed. The service conditions, including salaries, of such officers must also be prescribed. The Central Government may direct the preparation of one or more official seals for authenticating documents required for or connected with company registration.
