Private company provisions apply to Producer Companies unless inconsistent with chapter-specific rules. All limitations, restrictions and provisions of the Companies Act applicable to a private company apply to a Producer Company, except where expressly excluded in this Chapter or where such provisions conflict with the Chapter's specific provisions governing Producer Companies.
