<h1>Section 15: Penalty for issuing outdated memorandum or articles without recording alterations in company documents</h1> Section 15 of the Companies Act, 2013 mandates that every alteration made to a company's memorandum or articles must be reflected in all copies of those documents. Any copy issued must incorporate the latest alterations. Failure to update and issue amended copies constitutes a default by the company and every officer in default. For each non-compliant copy of the memorandum or articles issued without noting the alteration, the company and each responsible officer are liable to a penalty of one thousand rupees.
