Voting rights in producer companies: each member gets one vote; presiding officer has a casting vote except in chairman elections. Each Member of a producer company is entitled to one vote; the presiding officer has a casting vote in the event of equal votes, except that no casting vote applies to the election of the Chairman. The provision was amended by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020, effective 11 February 2021.
