of <h1>Filling Tribunal President or Appellate Chairperson vacancies: senior-most member acts temporarily to ensure uninterrupted leadership and functions.</h1> Where a vacancy occurs in the office of the President of the Tribunal or the Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal due to death, resignation or otherwise, the senior-most Member is mandated to act as President or Chairperson until a new President or Chairperson appointed under the Act assumes office, ensuring continuity of leadership. Where the President or Chairperson is unable to discharge functions due to absence, illness or any other cause, the senior-most Member is required to discharge those functions until the incumbent resumes duties, ensuring uninterrupted performance of statutory functions.
