<h1>Who Can Challenge Oppression and Mismanagement? Eligibility Rules u/s 244 for Filing Section 241 Applications</h1> Section 244 specifies who may apply to the Tribunal under section 241 for relief against oppression and mismanagement. In companies with share capital, at least 100 members or members constituting at least one-tenth of the total number, or members holding at least one-tenth of issued share capital who have paid all dues, may apply. In companies without share capital, at least one-fifth of the members may apply. Joint holders of shares are treated as a single member. The Tribunal may waive these numerical or shareholding thresholds. Any one or more eligible members may file the application with written consent of the others.
