Company meeting quorum requirements and adjournment rules apply based on company type and member count. Section 103 sets quorum thresholds: public companies require five members if membership 1,000; fifteen if >1,000-5,000; thirty if >5,000; private companies require two. If no quorum appears within half an hour the meeting is adjourned to the next week or to another date fixed by the board, except requisitioned meetings which are cancelled. An adjourned meeting or changed schedule requires at least three days' notice individually or by advertisement (one English and one vernacular). If still no quorum within half an hour at the adjourned meeting, the members present form the quorum.
