<h1>Government Can Remove NCLT Members for Insolvency, Misbehavior, or Conflict of Interest After Inquiry and Hearing</h1> The Central Government, after consulting the Chief Justice of India, can remove the President, Chairperson, or any Member of the National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal for insolvency, conviction for an offense involving moral turpitude, incapacity, conflict of interest, or abuse of position. Removal on grounds of moral turpitude, incapacity, conflict of interest, or abuse requires a hearing. Additionally, removal for misbehavior or incapacity requires a Supreme Court Judge's inquiry. The government can suspend officials during the inquiry and must establish procedural rules for such inquiries in consultation with the Supreme Court.
