<h1>Company investigation inspector reports: interim/final filing, public access copies, seal/custodian authentication, admissible evidence; excludes section 212.</h1> An inspector appointed under the investigation provisions may, and if directed shall, submit interim reports and must submit a final report to the Central Government on conclusion of the investigation, in written or printed form as directed. Members, creditors, or any other person whose interest is likely to be affected may obtain a copy of such report by applying to the Central Government. The inspector's report must be authenticated either by the company's seal (if any) or by a certificate of the public officer having custody of the report under the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, and once so authenticated is admissible in legal proceedings as evidence of matters stated in it. These provisions do not apply to the report referred to in section 212.
