Electronic voting enables prescription of company classes and the manner for members to exercise voting rights electronically. The Central Government is empowered to prescribe the class or classes of companies and the manner in which a member may exercise his right to vote by electronic means, authorising regulatory specification of eligible companies and operational modalities for members to cast votes electronically.
