<h1>National Company Law Appellate Tribunal setup to hear appeals on company and competition orders; notification-based appointments mandated.</h1> The Central Government must constitute, by notification effective from a specified date, an appellate tribunal called the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, comprising a chairperson and such number of judicial and technical members as it considers appropriate, appointed by notification. The tribunal is established to hear appeals against orders of the tribunal or of the National Financial Reporting Authority under the Companies law, and to hear appeals relating to certain directions, decisions, or orders referenced under the Competition law in accordance with that law's provisions.
