Director Identification Number reporting required; failure attracts fixed penalties and continuing daily fines up to a statutory cap. Every company must furnish the Director Identification Number of all directors to the Registrar or other specified authority within fifteen days of the intimation under section 156, in the prescribed form, manner and fees. Failure to comply attracts a fixed penalty and, for continuing contravention, a further daily penalty up to a statutory maximum; officers in default are similarly liable to minimum and continuing daily penalties up to the same cap.
